Pixel!ENGINE is designed for UNIX users - primarily systems integrators - with limited scanning needs or batch functionality requirements for scanning, OCR and file conversion.  This product has a TCL-based scripting interface which provides some of the basic functionality of the Pixel!FX Deluxe family for batch command execution and smooth command-line integration with third-party products.  Pixel!ENGINE may also be used as an Application Programming Interface (API).

Pixel!ENGINE's features include file conversion, scanning, image rotation, image scaling, image type conversions, OCR, and faxing.  Most of the capabilities of the Pixel!FX Deluxe product suite are available within Pixel!ENGINE.
